📚 About the Class 9 Science Textbook – Exploration
Exploration is the new NCERT Science textbook for Grade 9 for the 2026–27 academic session. The textbook is designed to help students understand science through observation, questioning, experimentation and discovery rather than simply memorising facts.
The book takes an integrated approach to science, bringing together ideas from biology, chemistry, physics and Earth science, while also connecting science with mathematics, technology, arts, environmental education and other areas. Its emphasis is on understanding scientific processes and making connections with the real world.
What does Exploration cover?
